LPHA contracts private security services though Metro Public Safety Investigations. This service includes, among other things, patrol coverage and 24-hour dispatch response, coordination with KCMO PD and LPHA officers during emergencies, Board Officer notification of security issues, out-of-town residence checks (requires signed form from owner), armed officers with Class A licenses though KCMO PD, body cams, and in-vehicle cameras.
