Hosts Needed
Would you, or you and a neighbor, like to host a future neighborhood event? The Association budgets for two main events each year, the Annual Holiday Party and Block parties, with smaller events throughout the year. Don’t be intimidated though, there are Board members and other neighborhood volunteers available to help plan, coordinate, set up, and clean up during our neighborhood events. Please don’t hesitate to contact a Board member to discuss options and ideas when considering if you would like to be our next host.
Upcoming Events:
2025 Annual Meeting: The 2025 Annual Meeting will be held at the Seabaugh Residence at 7:00 p.m. on June 17, 2025.
The 2025 LPHA Holiday Party: We are still looking for a host. Holiday Parties are usually hosted between the Winter holidays in December, depending on the Chief’s games and times. If you are interested in hosting, volunteers are available to assist you with setup and cleanup. The association maintains a modest budget for this event, which can be supplemented by items contributed from the association members.

Annual Block Party: The annual Block Party was held June 1, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The 2024 Loose Park Holiday Party was hosted by Bridget Grams & Alan Gaylin on December 15, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
The LPHA 2024 Annual Meeting: The annual meeting was held on June 24, 2024, at the Seabaugh Residence from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Annual Block Party: The annual Block Party was held on August 30th, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
LPHA Annual Meeting: The annual meeting was be held on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Seabaugh Residence.
LPHA Security Candidate Q&A Session: The LPHA Board invited Homeland Security Protective Service, Inc. to participate in a neighborhood Q&A session on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. for a 30-minute Q&A session. The meeting wa hosted via Zoom, with options for video or call-in participation.
The 2022 Loose Park Holiday Cocktail Party was hosted by Sacha and Chad Troutwine, on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
71st Annual Kappa Kappa Gamma Holiday Homes Tour: The Hiles Residence at 816 West 52nd Terrace was featured on the 71st Annual Kappa Kappa Gamma Holiday Homes Tour. The tour was be held Wednesday, December 7th, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m and Thursday, December 8th, from 10:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. For more information visit http://www.kappahomestour.com or contact Amy Hiles.
Annual Dumpster Day was held Saturday, September 24th, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Fourteen households took advantage of the opportunity to dispose of junk and clear up space in their homes, but we still had plenty of room for more. Many thanks to our Dumpster Day Volunteers, including Patty Lewis, Jean Maneke, Ann Mesle, and Bob Richards.
The Annual board meeting was held August 11th, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the Powell residence.
