LPHA contracts private security services through Metro Public Safety. This service includes, among other things:
- Nightly patrol coverage and 24-hour dispatch response
- Coordination with KCMO PD and LPHA officers during emergencies
- Board and resident notification of security issues
- Out-of-town residence checks (requires a signed form from the owner)
- Officers with Class A firearm licenses through KCMO PD, body cams, and in-vehicle cameras
Their main objective is to deter crime and report suspicious activity or security concerns to KCPD, homeowners, and the association.
